The Entomological Society of Southern Africa is pleased to announce that the 17th Congress of the Society will be hosted by the Department of Zoology & Entomology at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein from 3-6 July 2011.

The Organizing Committee has proposed six major themes for the Congress:
     • Taxonomy, Systematics & Zoogeography
     • Ecology
     • Biodiversity, Conservation & Climate Change
     • Agricultural Entomology
     • Medical, Veterinary & Forensic Entomology
     • Weed Management
